Cinema X was started in Radford Virginia in the Autumn of 1991 by Adam Hodge and T. Byron Kelly while both were attending the University and later renamed Dirty Pictures.  Eric L. & DW Baugh quickly joined them on Bass & Drums. DP recorded a first home demo by Scott Flory of Crayon/Blindspot and then a longer project with Rick Mullins at JRM Studios in Salem Virginia. DP fractured in 1993 but half of the band went on to form The Spirit World  Members of DP are still recording together these days and have again reformed as Cinema X at Studio Appalachia & Up In A Tree Productions.
